Two anonymous art students, known as DANGERDUST, have created chalkboards illustrated by famous quotations from the pop-culture and the classic culture. A real work on typography and portraits of some authors of these quotes.
Inari Ōkami
My contribution to the “Gods and Goddesses” group show, opening May 11 in Kunstcafé de Cantine Amsterdam.
This painting represents my interpretation of the Shintō god/goddess Inari, the protector of rice cultivation and the patron deity of swordsmiths. The painting represents two depictions of Inari, the main being a beautiful young woman. The fox is identified as the messenger of Inari.50 cm x 50 cm (ca 19″x19″) oil on canvas.
